NBA Champion Stephen Curry spoke and interacted with kids at his own “Stephen Curry Basketball Camp” that took place in Pebble Beach at Stevenson School this June. There were 153 young athletes between the ages of 9 and 16 who attended the clinic and all wore the number “30” jersey after their basketball idol and mentor, and were more than enthusiastic to encounter the great player himself and work on some drills. Some of the campers even came from as far as Russia, Guatemala, and Denmark. All of the youngsters were beyond excited to work with Curry and felt that he gave them all the attention in the world during their sessions. Curry even took the time to play some one on one battles with the kids, who now can say they played against a basketball great.
The 2015 NBA MVP is originally from Akron, Ohio and is the son of former basketball player Dell Curry.
