This past week, Jordan Spieth renewed his endorsement contract with grip manufacturer SuperStroke. With the renewal, Spieth will continue to use the company’s club and putter grips including their new S-Tech line.
The number one golfer in the world and defending FedEx champion, Jordan Spieth, is a Dallas, Texas native and is among one of the hottest names in not only golf but sports in general. Spieth played college golf at the University of Texas and was a part of a national championship team while there as well as taking home many individual awards. Just before turning 20, Spieth won his first PGA Tour event in 2013 and has been rocketing through the ranks since. This past year is when Spieth really hit his stride and has shown championship caliber play at nearly every tournament. This included victories at the Masters, U.S. Open, and eventually ending the year as the number one and FedEx Cup champions of the PGA. During this year, Spieth started his PGA season with a win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions with a score of -30. The score of -30 was not only his personal best but was only the second time a golfer has reached that score in PGA history.
This past week Jordan Spieth resigned with the grip manufacturer SuperStroke. The marriage was a success before the renewal and SuperStroke will continue to tie itself to, according to SportsPro’s, the second most marketable athlete in the world. Spieth has stated time and again that he trusts the company’s grips on the course.
