Previously, he served as General Manager of the Inorganics Division of Bayer AG from 1997 to 1998 and Executive Vice President and President of Industrial Chemicals Division at Bayer Corporation from 1992 to 1997. He joined Bayer AG in Leverkusen, Germany in 1969. Mr. Stroucken served as Executive Chairman of the Board of HB Fuller Co. from October 1999 to December 1, 2006. He has been an Executive Director of Owens-illinois Inc. since August 19, 2005. He has been a Director of Baxter International Inc. since September 1, 2004.
