Alexander M. Cutler, Sandy has been an Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Eaton Corporation of Eaton-Aeroquip, Inc. since August 1, 2000. Mr. Cutler serves as Chief Executive Officer of Eaton Usev Holding Company Inc. He serves as President of Eaton Hydraulics Inc. Mr. Cutler served as Chief Operating Officer of Eaton Corporation from September 1, 1995 to July 31, 2000. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Controls of Eaton from 1993 to 1995, as its Executive Vice President, Operations since 1991 and President of its Industrial Group since 1986 and President of the Controls Group since 1989 and led a broad range of businesses and strategic functions, including its global Operations. Since 1982, he served as Division Manager of the Power Distribution Division and since April 1985, he served as General Manager of the Industrial Control and Power Distribution Operations in the United States. He joined Cutler-Hammer Inc. in 1975 as a Financial Analyst and served as its Business Group Controller since 1977. After Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, he served as Division Controller since 1979 and since 1980, served as its Plant Manager of the Atlanta Assembly Plant. He served as President of the Yale Alumni Association of Cleveland. Mr. Cutler serves as Chairman of the Board of Eaton Yale Company. He serves as Chairman of the Greater Cleveland Partnership. He serves as Chair Corporate Leadership Initiative at Business Roundtable, The. He has been Director of El DuPont de Nemours & Co. since April 30, 2008. He served as a Director of Axcelis Technologies Inc. from 2000 to May 3, 2006. He served as Chairman of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Mr. Cutler served as Co-Chairman for the Cleveland Commission on Economic Partnerships and Inclusion. He serves as a Director of United Way of Greater Cleveland. He serves as a Member of the Yale University Development Board and the Yale Alumni Association of Cleveland. He served as a Member of the board of the Yale University Alumni Fund and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Mr. Cutler served on the executive committees of the Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education (formerly the Cleveland Commission on Higher Education), the Visiting Committee of the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Play House, the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, and the Museum of Natural History. He attended the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut.
