David Rocco was born in Toronto, Canada and is a Canadian actor and producer. He is most famous for producing and hosting the television series David Rocco's Dolce Vita. He was also the co-creator and host of Catalyst Entertainment's food and travel hybrid series Avventura: Journey in Italian Cuisine, as well as Don't Forget Your Passport.
Rocco learned to cook growing up in an Italian family in
Toronto and claims, "I'm not a chef, I'm Italian!". He now divides
his time between Toronto and Florence, Italy with his wife Nina Rocco. The
couple had twins, Emma and Giorgia, on March 13, 2008.
There are currently 4 seasons of David Rocco's Dolce Vita, airing in over 150
countries world wide including Food Network Canada, BBC Food, Discovery Travel,
Nat Geo Adventure Channel, and in the U.S. on the newly formed Cooking Channel.
