| Motorola Endorsers - Celebrities Endorsed by Motorola |
Motorola is a pioneer in the telecommunications industry with a long history of innovation. In fact, it was Motorola that brought the world its first commercial portable telephone. In January 2011, Motorola divided into two independent public companies, Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions.
As a pioneer Motorola has also been involved in some major endorsement deals. In 2006 soccer superstar David Beckham was featured in advertising campaign for the popular Razr2 cell phone. Motorola paired up with Chad Ocho Cinco to launch the Ocho Cinco News Network, the nation’s first athlete-operated social media news network, which is powered by Motorola’s MOTOBLUR technology in 2009. Most recently Motorola achieved every company’s dream endorsement deal: Oprah Winfrey. In Fall 2010 the Motorola Defy was introduced and given to everyone in the audience during The Oprah Winfrey Show’s farewell season premiere. Over the years other Motorola endorsers include Fergie and Indy racecar driver Danica Patrick.
