A Celebrity Booking Agency

Arian FosterNFL running back Arian Foster announced that he is retiring from the NFL on Monday, October 24. Foster gave a statement that he had always known that when it was time to leave, it would be very apparent to him, and it is that way now. He also stated that his body just can’t handle the rough physical activity the way it used to, and even something as small as a minor injury that would require rehab would just be too much. Even though it is odd to retire mid-season, the former Dolphin repeated that it is just his time.

The Albuquerque, New Mexico native started playing football at the young age of seven, as he was encouraged by his mother to do so. He continued to play the sport while attending Valley High School as a teen, which eventually led him to joining the roster of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Foster entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. However, the Houston Texans signed him on as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and he proved his abilities rather quickly.

Foster announced earlier this month that he will no longer be playing in the NFL, as it is time for him to retire. Despite the fact that it’s only mid-season, the player’s health was at stake and that obviously takes precedence.
