Pavel Bure AppearancesKnown as “the Russian Rocket”, Pavel Bure was the fastest and most exciting player to watch during his time in the NHL. He averaged better than a point per game in his NHL career (779 points with 437 goals in 702 NHL games) and is third all-time in goals per game. After six years of eligibility, Bure was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in June 2012. He will be official inducted in November along with Joe Sakic, Mats Sundin and Adam Oates.

Throughout his career, he’s never been one to be in the spotlight and doesn’t make too many corporate appearances, speaking engagements or autograph signings. However, he will be signing autographs for Vancouver Canucks fans on November 11th in Ontario, Canada at the Sportcard and Memorabilia Expo. Bure has been described as a pure goal scorer and is statistically among the top players in NHL history in that regard. In addition to having reached the 50-goal mark in his career five times and the 60-goal mark twice, his .623 goals per game average is third among the top 100 goal scorers in NHL history, behind Mike Bossy and Mario Lemieux.  In today’s game, fellow Russian, Alexander Ovechkin seems to have the most similar style of play comparable to Bure.
