Seattle Seahawks Sidney Rice has joined the company GTX Corp as their newest brand ambassador. GTX Corp specializes in making wearable technology and found themselves to be a good fit with Rice, who is extremely passionate about promoting brain health that coincides with the technology that humans are interacting with on a daily basis. The former wide receiver is an outspoken advocate for finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and Traumatic Brain Injury problems, and he believes that this new partnership will help him raise awareness while assisting them with marketing. In addition to that, Rice actually left his football career behind him to put his energy into other outlets. He originally was going to play one more year after winning the 2014 Super Bowl, but decided against it due to concussions.
The South Carolina native was picked up in the 2007 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings where he play for three years before heading up north to Seattle. From 2004 to 2006, Rice also played football for the University of South Carolina but left school early to become a part of this great sporting league. The 2009 Pro Bowl player finished his six year career with 30 receiving touchdowns and 3.592 receiving yards caught.
Rice has recently paired up with GTX Corp to promote their newest technology as a brand ambassador, and he is one of the best candidates to do it based on his goal to learn more about how sports impact the human body in the long run.
