A Celebrity Booking Agency

Tom OsborneFormer NCAA coach Tom Osborne has been selected to serve as the keynote speaker for this year’s Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame that’s happening on August 3rd. There will be 15-star athletes being inducted this year, and a dinner will take place to celebrate the occasion in addition to the ceremony itself. Osborne will share experiences to pump up the energy levels in the room, as well as tell some of his own stories of encouragement from the sidelines of the field. It is expected to be a lot of fun for the inductees and their friends, families, and special guests. Osborne is a veteran of the sports industry and will have plenty of insight to share.

The Hastings, Nebraska native was a football star during his high school years and ended up attending the University of Nebraska as a student and player. He was the first male Nebraska athlete to win high school and college football awards by the Omaha World Herald and ended up getting drafted to the NFL and played for both the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers before deciding to switch gears towards coaching. By 1964, Osborne had gotten involved as a part of the Nebraska football program’s staff and stayed with them there until 2013 doing both coaching and administrative jobs.

Osborne is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for the Nebraska Black Sports Hall of Fame that is occurring on August 3rd in Omaha, Nebraska. It will be an exciting day for the inductees, and hopefully a meaningful event for everyone else who is in attendance.
