Strange’s last win on tour was the 1989 U.S. Open, and he was also the runner-up at the PGA Championship as well as a five-time team player for the Ryder Cup. In 2007, Strange was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame that November at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.
