Under Armour shoe endorsementsWith Under Armour’s biggest marketing push ever, CEO Kevin Plank said they plan to roll out a digital, print, social media and televised campaign for the new Spine shoe in upwards of $10 million. The athlete faces behind the aggressive campaign will be Patriot’s QB, Tom Brady, US Skier Lindsey Vonn and Charlotte Bobcats, Kemba Walker. The shoe will be available for the public on July 9th.

The shoe, which based on the function of the human spine, is designed to be ultra light (9.7 ounces) and very flexible. The line of shoes will initially hit the running category, but Plank says baseball, basketball and football shoes are not too far behind. Last year, Under Amour brought in $1.5 billion compared to Nike’s $20 billion, but Plank says that time is on their side. By the looks of their healthy stock chart’s performance, it looks like he just might be right.
