Usain Bolt, 25, Did it again on Sunday as the Jamaican world record-holder and defending Olympic champion, exploded down the track at London’s Olympic Stadium and won the gold medal in a time of 9.63. This world record comes after many rumors swirling whether or not he would be ready for the event as he has been suffering a hamstring injury. I guess those questions can be put to rest as he sets a New World Record, one that he has previously set four years ago.

Fans had a feeling it would be a special night as they piled in to watch the Usain Bolt along with fellow runners Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake, Justin Gatlin, and Ryan Bailey. Fans in attendance got a chance to witness Usain Bolt win gold for 2nd time as well as join Carl Lewis as only the second man to go back-to-back in track’s biggest race. After his record holding finish, Usain Bolt took a victory lap around the track, then stopped and kissed the track and gave his now-famous “To The World” pose, pointing both fingers in the air while the fans screamed.

This incredible performance will soon bring a series of endorsements, appearances, meet and greets, autograph signings, and potentially a book. Usain Bolt currently has endorsements with Hublot, Visa, Gatorade, Nissan Motor, Digicel, Virgin Media, and Puma. His biggest sponsorship to date is with Puma which pays about $9 million annually. Most of the viewers at home and fans in attendance saw Usain Bolt cross the finish line rocking his latest Puma’s. Look for possibly a new Puma commercial after his dazzling New World Record.
