A Celebrity Booking Agency

Julie Foudy Speaking FeeESPN Analyst and World Cup champion Julie Foudy spoke to a group of over 100 students, teachers, and parents the the Holy Comforter Episcopal School at the end of September. The event was a part of the 2015 Holy Comforter’s Speaker Series that was sponsored by Hancock Bank, and it happened during the last part of September. Foudy had a great time interacting with the audience and getting them to participate in silly activities in order to get them out of their comfort zones. She also had a great message for everyone who had a chance to listen to her and she got to talk a little bit about her days as a professional soccer player too.

The San Diego native played soccer for the United States Women’s National team from 1987 through 2004, so anyone who has ever watched one of the big games during those years is bound to recognize her. In 2007 she was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame alongside her friend and teammate, Mia Hamm and currently works as a color analyst for ESPN’s women’s soccer events.

Foudy made an appearance at the Holy Comforter Episcopal School at the end of September and was an immediate huge hit with everyone there. It was especially a treat for the students who were in the audience as they got to see what a lot of hard work and dedication can bring them.
