David Greene Biography

David Greene was born June 22, 1982 in Snellville, Georgiaand is a former  quarterback of theNational Football League. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the thirdround of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia.

Greene has also been a member of the New England Patriots,Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts. He retired following the 2008season, having never played in a regular season game.

Greene finished his college career as the winningest quarterback in NCAADivision I history with 42 wins in four years, eclipsing the record previouslyheld by Peyton Manning. However, on November 21, 2009, University of Texasquarterback Colt McCoy broke his record with a win over University of Kansas.Greene is the Southeastern Conference all-time career leader in yards gainedwith 11,270.
